Ubuntu 18.04 LTS will reach its end of life on May 31, 2023.

What Twingate is doing

After May 31, 2023:

• Twingate will no longer provide support for any Connectors or Clients running on Ubuntu 18.04.
• Future Connector and Client versions may not support Ubuntu 18.04.

Until July 31, 2023:

• Twingate will continue to provide support for users on Business and Enterprise tiers migrating from Ubuntu 18.04 to more recent versions.

What you need to do

• Update all machines running Ubuntu 18.04 to a more recent version, such as Ubuntu 20.04 LTS or Ubuntu 22.04 LTS, to be able to run future Connector and Client versions.
• If you do not take action, future Connector versions may not run on your machines. You may attempt to run future Connector versions on Ubuntu 18.04, but Twingate will be unable to provide support.
  • Existing Connector and Client versions will continue working, but will eventually be deprecated.
